"I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to Rapid Defense for being such a great company. Everyone is so friendly, approachable, welcoming, patience, etc etc.

I got a handgun and rifle in 2020. Shot them at an indoor range a couple times, and that was it. It wasnt till Oct of 2024 that I took a concealed handgun class (with RD). I was very nervous, but Craig and John were great trainers. Even with my dad who went with me and struggled at times in the class, they were the perfect amount accomodating, paitence, ensuring safety, and having fun. The gun world was open to me because of Rapid Defense. It wasn't scary anymore, it was something I knew i needed to learn; something i could have fun with, and develop an important skill at the same time.

This experience continued into RD's medical training class in early Dec 2024, where I was blown away on how much I learned. I will probably take that class regularly to stay sharp.

Then seeing the annual Night Fighters event, I decided there would actually be an opportunity to use night vision so I decided to get a device. That was my first time using a rifle in a matchish type scenario. It was a struggle, but everyone was so friendly and patient yet again, actually wanting to help me learn and get better.

It's been about 1 year and I feel like I've learned a lifetime and yet there's still so much more. I could not have done any of this without Rapid Defense, Andy, Ben, Craig, Adrian, the other trainers, and even others in the community I've met along the way.

A seriously big thank you, from the bottom of my heart, you all are truly living your mission statement in making more people equipped in defending life and liberty. You are a beacon in the community.

"I found the long distance class information very useful. Building the real-world data confirmation with shooting steel targets at 200, 300, 400, 500, and 540 yards was a huge confidence booster. It allowed me to check the data that Strelok [ballistics calculator] was providing. At the end of the day, I was satisfied with the shooting I had done.

The whole day of testing and building shooting data was highly productive. If I had to do it over again, I would've selected a round other than 55 grain bulk ammo to run. However I still found the exercise immensely useful and did get a proper zero and hold data for a very common and available ammunition type. The zeroing clinic at the start of the class was very helpful. Getting chrono data was great. Light indicators on steel were a huge help, as well as the spotting scopes that were available."
