400 Yard Bill Drills with a Gas Gun

Another fantastic Intermediate Scoped Carbine class in the books with Adrian and Critical Impact Group! We had a beautiful day at Highlands putting lead way down range.

We started our work with a refresher on ballistics and wind effects, maximum point blank range, and repeatedly making quick and accurate shots out to 600 yards.

The rest of the class consisted of barricade shooting, working “perfect” barricade positions off tripods, then adapting the principles on not so perfect positions. Like all our classes, performance matters - regardless of distance. A lot of the concepts are proven with Bill Drills (6 shots under 4 seconds) on a 2/3rd steel at ranges beyond 200 yards and we love seeing students accomplish this.
