Fighting Fiercely with a Carbine

We wrapped up our defensive rifle series this past weekend on a very productive day.

We started out this advanced class with a cold open drill before rehearsing some of the basics like snap drills and transitions.

Students then progressed to drills working on height over bore, sight confirmation levels, and movement.

The afternoon featured barricade work to study positional shooting and the various challenges associated with that. We kept up the movement and finished the day doing a practical exercise with a vehicle, so students understood how to exit safely and utilize proper cover to engage targets at longer distances.
