The training season is about to start and we've introduced several new training classes this year. We are always striving to meet the needs of our students, which means helping them progress their skills and offering a variety of options to do.

In addition to our new 1-on-1 private training option, we've introduced:

Performance Pistol with Gateway Defense (May 30-31). This high level class is designed to tie all of your pistol skills together and teach you how to apply them at speed while also maintaining acceptable accuracy. Performance shooting is a combination of fundamentals, movement, transitions, and mental stamina applied to make your a highly effective gunfighter. Those participating in IDPA, USPSA, or other shooting sports benefit greatly from this class.

Mastering Handgun Mechanics (Sept 13). This instructor level class breaks down every part of shooting a handgun effectively, weeding out all of your flaws and bad habits. This enables you to shoot tighter groups, faster splits, and eliminate the frustration that comes from inconsistency. Instructors have a lot to gain from this class as we cover how to analyze and treat deficiencies.

Master Rifle Mechanics (Sept 26). The rifle version of the handgun class, we break down every part of shooting a rifle effectively. We take a process-based approach to shooting, and by explaining the principles behind marksmanship techniques, students will not only fix their marksmanship errors, they will learn how to diagnose and correct errors that arise in the future. Thus, instructors greatly benefit from taking this class.

Low Light Defensive Handgun (Nov 21). Like the name applies, we dive into shooting a defensive handgun in dark conditions. We spend a lot of our lives in the dark, and utilizing a firearm during those times presents a unique set of challenges. This class will teach you how to remain safe and effective with the use of lights, your environment, and myth busting.

See you soon!
