Reaching Higher levels of pistol performance

Students really brought it in our 2 day Performance Pistol class with Gateway Defense last weekend! This high round count, high intensity class made better shooters out of everyone.

Day 1 was filled with building the foundational principles for speed and accuracy. Students enhanced their grip, sped up their draw, worked on sight confirmation levels, perfected the trigger press, and dove into target transitions.

Day 2 brought more complex target transitions, target blending, fast and efficient movement, and hit factor considerations for winning. We wrapped with a complete 150 point stage to tie all the concepts together.

We’re proud of the progress everyone made and we can’t wait to hit the range again to work on all these skills.
