Using a handgun in Low Light Conditions

We had an excellent group of guys for Low Light Defensive Handgun last night. This class is jammed with info and offers an introduction to using a handgun in dark conditions.

Students learned the various techniques for using a WML as well as a handheld option, which is critical for defensive purposes.

Then we put those techniques to the test with precision based drills to really focus on shooting well with the various grips and light techniques in play.

We also had a full light comparison both inbound and outbound to see how lumens and candela matter, as well as figuring out how to use both with ambient and internal lighting.

We wrapped up with some combined drills to get reloads and movement figured out while running those lights.

If you carry for personal defense, this is a must take class as we spend half our lives in the dark. This will return in 2026!
